Just wondering why I can't burn an .img file in DVD decryter. I've used it sucessfully before, but for some reason get this message. I've also tried alcohol 120% and nero with no luck either. I think I/O is something with the cables, but I've never had problems with it before and it doesn't make sense why other programs won't burn the image either. Any ideas?

I/O errors are usually media related. Are you using quality discs? Trying to burn it too fast?

I'm attempting to burn the movie at 4x, which is the fastest my burner can go. Discs are ok quality, DVD+R. Are they compatible with DVD video?

What brand of blank disc are you using and do you know how to get the manufacturer code from them? Use a program called DVD Identifier to check for the ID code.

I honestly have no idea what kind they are. They have no marking on the top, and the insert that came in the spindle is gone. I know I got them at radio shack and after looking on their website, couldn't find what kind they were. I'm tempted to say they're toshiba's but I'm pretty sure I'm wrong on that one. Well, I'll give my maxell DVD-R's a shot at burning the movie.
