Hi

I have some DVD-R Proformance (x1) and my DVD Recorder can't see it.
NERO say "No medium inserted or drive not ready".
But haven't any problem with write on TDK DVD-RW. What the f**k....?? :((((((((((

Please help me.
-Pioneer is damaged?
-Proformance is shit?
-Windows XP is shit? :)

(integral recording in Windows XP is OFF)

Hi,

Have you updated you ASPI for nero yet??
If not do so and it should fix your problem.
Do a search on www.nero.com for ASPI and get the aspi for you Operating System then follow the directions to the "T" about how to put it in your main nero folder.

Im pretty sure i read on www.blankdiscshop.co.uk that proformance dvdr's are not compatible with the 105 drive.

Hi again seth,

I just had an issue with my dvd-r media my Toshiba SDR-5002 will not recognize my legacy dvd-r media through nero but will recognize my memorex and tdk dvd-r medias just fine. I can only record on my legacy media through DVDXCOPY???? So I would suggest you just go with the TDK if your dvd-r can recognize it easily. If not try other media and the one that works should be the one you should use.
