I disabled the modchip and tried to setup my Network Adapter setting and it would not connect. It kept giving the (-402) DNAS Error message! Can someone PLEASE help me!! I think I have the latest firmware....

are you using original games? if not the back up has to be patched for online play.
As far as setting it up i have never done it myself.

If you are using a Modem you have to plug the ethernet cable to the ps2 and turn the modem off and on. and then it should work.
