Hi new here!
Been searching around for awhile and I can't seem to find my PS2's version.

It's written NTSC

Do you guys need the model No?
Final question:
Would the version support DVD+R or not?

DVD+R are for V5 and abouve models. BUt i find that -R work better for games.

I think mine is version 7.
Since my model no. is SCPH-39001

And it clearly states on that site that this SCPH39001 is v7.
So V7 should work with DVD+R right?
But it's still better to get DVD-R?

well i am just the opposite.
I use nothing but DVD-R for games.
But with a quality burner and quality media i never have any problems anyway.
(Sony DRU-700A Burner and Philips 8X DVD-R)

Well I recently got BENQ DW1620 Pro dvd burner and I think it should work well.
Right now I'm about to try burning a game and see if it works.
I'll post the details later.
