Hi All,

I have Sony PS2 but it reads only CD of NTSC, Where as I have few games which are in PAL and I am unable to play them in my PS2.

Is there any way I can convert the PS2 so that it can read PAL format CD's or convert the game CD's from PAL to NTSC

Yeah, get a good mod chip like DMS4 or Matrix Infinity
They will read anything.

Or get Swap Magic 3.3 or above which will also play either, although a small part of the screen on the bottom is always cut off.
And just to make sure are you sure they ar CD based games and not DVD based games (check the case of the game and it will have either a DVD sybol or CD Rom sysbol)

You were correct thats DVD based games not CD.

What does MOB chip mean?
What brand is it? Was it installed by you or someone else?
A GOOD mod chip should read any kind of disc in any format
NTSC,PAL,Import, DVD-R,DVD+R,DVD+RW,CD-R, you get the idea.
