I just installed InterVideo WinDVD Creator 2, and it seems to work fine when you want to burn a movie that is 2 hours or less, but at the end, under the "make movie" tab, the "format" pull-down menu only has options for "DVD 1 hour", and "DVD 2hours". There is no option for LP or EP mode. I tried to use the wizard, and it had all four options, so I chose "EP Mode, 240 mins", and saved the settings, but when I got back to the last step, the "format" pulldown menu still only had the "DVD 1 hour", and "DVD 2hours" options. I had an older version b4 this that had all four options all along, & I never had any problems with it. I would really like to make DVD's that are in the 180, & 240 min formats, does anyone know how to fix this?

The Best way to overcome this Problem is to not use the Crappy assed "WinDVD Creator 2.0" Program as it is a Pretty Bad Program which doesn"t give you many options for Makeing DVD"s...

I find it better to just use a Standalone Encoder to Compress your Files to Mpeg-2 format and then use a "Real" DVD Authoring Program Like DVDLab to add your Menu"s and Chapters and to burn the DVD....

Is DVD Lab freeware, cuz if it's not it sucks that I just bought WinDVD Creator 2.0 Platnium. And what's driving me even more crazy is my older version had all the options so I know this new one must be able to do it, I just can't figure out how. It should just have the LP & EP options under the format pull-down menu like the old one did, but it doesn't. It's been 3 days now & I just can't seem to figure it out. Plus I don't really know much about standalone encoding. WinDVD always just made it easy, I only had to drag & drop the AVI files, choose the HQ, SP, LP, or EP mode & then hit burn. This new one works the same way but it just doesn't seem have the other 2 options. THere must be one of you guys that knows what I mean with this program. Please, it is really driving me crazy. There must be some option or preference that's probably right in front of my face that I just can't find.
