If you are playing a PAL on an NTSC system then you SHOULD set Swap Magic to PAL?
I don't get what the problem is?
You don't go by the TV you go by what the game is.

have you tried the normal screen mode or the special load feature.
I have swap magic 3.3 and it plays both NTSC and PAL just fine.
My TV may be compatible with both, not sure. It is a cheap Samtron and my other is an Advent. Both off brands that cost less but work great.
