Hi guys, I have been reading the forums for a while. I have just previously chipped my gamecube and i can boot backups, however, after an estimate of... say 30 minutes? I would get the disc read error. I have made around 5 backups and all of them boots up fine, UNTIL the gamecube starts to heat up.
I've read that the pot adjusts itself when it starts to heat up, and that I should tweak the laser.
----However, how the hell DO you tweak that pot value? I have a multimeter, but I have no idea how to use it to measure the OHMS. I've looked at the pictures are there seems to be three "crystal" thingies on the side of the pot. I am suppose to measure the top left one and the only one to the right, correct?
Also... when im suppose to turn the pot thing. What exactly am i turning counter clockwise or clockwise? I don't know, it seems like it'll snap right off if i turn the ENTIRE square pot thingy. AM i suppose to turn the entire thing? I'm too scared to touch it ;p. Thanks.

Oh right.. i forgot.
I am using a BenQ burner with Full size DVD-r Teons. Through the modthatcube page, it appears to be compatible (which i believe it is). I can burn it at 1, 2, 4, and 8x with no problems. I am using a VIPER gc, with cobra 1.2. All seems well, and my only thought is the pot setting.
