hi i have a PSTwo and a Matrix Infinity V 1.38 it plays all my ps2games, ps2 backups and dvds just fine but it wont play PSX game or PSX backups for some reason. I get a black screen before the logo screen. i tried pressing triangle and circle to go into the settings when i start my ps2 up but it doesnt work and every time i try to update the Firmware to 1.5 it says update failed, maybe im just doing it wrong. im starting to think its a fake chip, i heard there were fake ones out there too. is anyone else having problems like this? and does anyone know how to fix it? and if it is a fake chip, is there any way to set it so it runs psx games.
