i know that the next xbox has a removeable harddrive so do u think it could be replaced with a standard pc harddrive??? instead of buying an overpriced one from M$

they never clarified it would be 2.5 inch like sony but i think it might.

From the looks of things it could be something of there own creation.. well someone else probably built it but anyways... But that doesnt mean we wouldnt be able to build an adapter of sorts.. you never know.

i think u might be able to use an external harddrive if u want.those are pretty cheap and can work with computers.

there is a tutorial(i think by the llama)
easy to switch...just make sure you back up ALL files

No, you don't have to format the drive or backup any files. The one on llama just has an adapter that converts the connection from IDE to USB 2.0 and loops the usb cable from the internal notebook hdd that is mounted inside the case to the back USB connection on the xbox360.
Basically all it does is give you a huge memory card. You could accomplish the same thing with an external USB hdd. No code will run off the new hdd you attach(yet) unless the xbox 360 gets modified.
