Your Problem is that TMPGEnc doesn"t support AC3 audio as the Audio in AVI files unless you Install this First:

http://fcchandler.home.comcast.net/AC3ACM/AC3ACM.zip

(Right Click INF File and go to "Install")

So if you re-encode the AVI file the Mpeg file should now have audio...

Also after you have encoded to Mpeg-2 with TMPGEnc you should Not use "DVD-Santa" to Put the File on to DVD because DVD-Santawill Probably re-encode the File which Ruins the Quality and Takes a Long time...
You should be useing a Real DVD authoring Program to put the Mpeg-2 file with Menu"s and Chapters on to DVD...Something like "DVDLab Pro" or even "Tmpgenc DVD Author" which none of them will re-encode your File so it takes maybe 30 minutes Max to put the Mpeg-2 file on to DVD and you can add all of the Features to the DVD that you find on Retail DVD"s.....

Cheers

hi

this is the mpeg2 you made from tmpgenc plus (not the finished dvdr), just before you finished off with santa..

did you use a template???????

load the mpeg2 in windows media player thats come with your operating system and see if you have sound before you convert to vobs etc and burn.

Nothing here to see, move along folks.
