I have a dvd movie and I would to make it dvd --> avi.
Ok with adobe pro 1.5 do I have to convert from dvd to avi or can i use the dvd format and work with that format and not avi format.

You're in luck. That's what I'm working on right now.

First you have to turn you DVD movie into AVI file in Premiere Pro (File / export / movie...). Then, import that AVI file into whatever program you're using to create the DVD.

Maybe you can help me.
I've created my movie in NTSC in Premiere Pro. After the movie is completly done in Premiere Pro, can it be changed to PAL or does one have to redo the whole movie from scratch?

use this to change from NTSC to pal

use 8000 bitrate

and first header only and also change horizontal and vertical to what you want and hit go for each file...

try that?

Nothing here to see, move along folks.
