V220 Request Denied by phone error 0x50 - pls help!

I have been reading this site for months and still cannot get MPT to get images off this phone.

I had it working at one time but it is no longer working. Using the USB cable.

I've done a format since then and have installed P2k as well as MPT 3. I have not installed the USB modem but can go into MPT setup in the communication tab and select the V220 modem from the list. I get the error mentioned in the topic of this post.

I have also tried the Motorolas Media Download program offered on their website and cannot get this to connect via USB either so I can get images off this doggone phone!

Any help you could provide would be greatly appreciated. I'm up to speed on all the lingo - so please help if you can.
