Spider Chip Help....

Ok here it is, I have two xbox's (1.3 and 1.6) I replaced both HD with 80 gig's then installed the spiderchip 1.1 in each box, flashed with the evox bios...cant rememeber which one on the 1.3 but i know the 1.6 was the M8. Then i installed Slayer on both. The 1.3 loads the EvoxDash just fine and everything works, but if i turn the chip off it flashes 3 times and goes red and green with no message on the screen....HD is locked! Now the 1.6 After installing Slayer it wold bott both ways on or off, but it would onyl load the M$Dash, but as long as the chip was on it would load up anything like it should....so i reflashed with slayer and added another bios...now im screwed wont load with the chip on anymore...flashes! I bought 2 spiderchip programmers, i hooked one up and connected it and it fried the programmer???????? What the hell happened? Now im afraid to try the second one. Any Advice would be greatly appreciated! Is there anyway of flashing the bios again without a programmer? And Is there any solution to the booting issues im having?

your message was a little confusing. the 1.3 box, does it work at all with the chip turned on or is it screwed?

the 1.3 works just fine when the chip is "on" now when i go to turn it off it doesnt work...i get flashing LED and No message onscreen.

yeah if u turn it off chances are u need to have the xbox's factory HD in there. I have slayers 2.6 disc and the ultimate x disc and i havnt had anyluck installing the M$ dash onto my large HD. Try putting the factory hd in and chip off just to test it. Just make sure the xbox top is on or else nothing will happen.
