I can't seem to burn playable CDs from MP3 files

So I download music from Kazaa and after they are downloaded I tried to burn them to a CD. First, I tried using Windows Media Player (all on XP), and that wouldn't work on anything. Then I downloaded other burning software, but still I haven't been able to burn anything that plays. Any suggestions??

what kind of cd are you trying to make?? mp3 cd or an audio cd(this type will play in a home/car stereo)????
