WMP 10 Won't Stay in Full Screen

This problem has just started recently for me and for the life of me I don't understand it. My WMP 10 keeps collapsing from full screen to normal screen. I don't remember when it started happening but it never used to do this. My OS is XP, I've tried uninstalling/reinstalling, uninstall/reinstall codecs, but nothing seems to work. None of my other media players has this problem, even WMP Classic doesn't do this. Any help would be most appreciated.

Oh, since I'm on here, was wondering if anyone could help me with Nero Showtime as well. The version I have is 2.0.0.4 and I'm trying to get it to play files with subtitles but for some odd reason it won't play the .srt file. Is there some sort of codec or file I need to download in order to get this to play? Thanks again.
