Hey guys,
I am trying convert an AVI to DVD format using this guide and with all of the software: http://www.afterdawn.com/guides/archive/convert_avi_to_dvd.cfm

I am having problems getting the audio to remux back into the processed MPEG video and need some help.

I am starting with two AVI files and joining them together as per the guide. This seems to work fine. Next I am stripping out the AC3 audio into a seperate file. This produces a 183mb file for a 2 hour movie in dolby 5.1.

I then go ahead and encode the movie to MPEG and everything looks good so far. Now I use IFOEdit to remux the MPEG video and ac3 audio and this is where the trouble starts. During the remux (mulitplexing) process the audio and video sync up just fine and then I get an error from IFOEdit (exactlt where the two avi files joined) saying that it needs more data but the buffer is empty. I hit ok and it keeps processing.

When I watch the movie I find out that exactly where the two AVI files were joined the sound is gone, but up until that point it was perfect.

I did check the joined AVI movie and everything looks normal all the way through the movie. So what is happening to my audio?
