AVI decompressor filter driver file missing

This isn't quite an actual playback problem, but I ran Sherlock codec detective and it claims AVI decoder to be missing. My video files work fine on Media Player Classic, but video editing programs don't seem to work properly. Movie Maker crashes everytime I import an AVI file (with DivX/Xvid compression) and premiere shows only black screen when editing DivX or Xvid AVI files. I think the reason is the missing avi decompressor and I need help how I can reinstall the driver for it.

And if the reason for this problem is some other thing, please give information about it instead.
