Hi I have dvd decrypter and I want to burn a copy of Zoo Tycoon I have followed all instructions for decrypter but it starts to copy and then comes up with read error messages.
I have to use decrypter cause of the iso images. I tried to use shrink but it came up with error cannot find iso file
Cuold anyone be able to help me on this matter

download a program called aray scanner, this will tell you what kind of encryptions are on this game (if any).

DVD Shrink will only touch movies in DVD format or MPEG2 (which is technically DVD format). The problem with most PC games is that to back them up you need to rip off the encryption and then put it back on when burning the disc. This makes it a bit more difficult.

Hi again I got the aray scanner ran over the disc which came up with safelite?? Anyway got a copy of Alcohol 120% have read the guide and started the image making wizard then tried to do the image burning following the guide which I kept in the b/ground but every time I put in a blank dvd disc it keeps saying insert empyt disc i checked the disc and it is empty can anyone give me some advice i am really new burning pc games this my first try thanks

last I knew Zoo tycoon was a cd-rom and not a dvd-rom.

thanks i figured that out late last night i assumed it was a dvd rom it only clicked that it may have been a cd rom after a number of attempts to copy it. But thanks

Hi again, i am still trying to back up zoo tycoon and a few others and am using decrypter.
got ther right discs this time but when i use decrypter to read the iso thing it does a bit of it then comes up with i/o error device [1:0:0] atapi dvd rw 16xmax and further down it says interpretation check condition have i set it up wrong??????????
Any advice would be very welcome

you can't use decrypter for this, you should use Alcohol to burn your image.

set your datatype to safedisc with alcohol when you burn, not safedisc 2/3
