Damn I'm tired of this shit and I'm gonna open up my PS2...can anyone show me how? Its a slim...

We took out 2 screws but Idk how to open it so yeah?

Also which part do you tape down?

the bit that fell out shouldn´t be a problem reinserting. If you look at the casing you will see an "area" where it can be inserted perfectly. You cant really screw it up, cause if you do it wrong you wont be able to close the machine again.

Dunno if what kind of tape you use has any say, I tried a few different ones myself and none of them would hold down the sensor, so instead I taped the C tool in place.

OMFG things went from bad to worse to mother freakin awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok I opened up my PS2, broke the seal, I was sad. Then when I opened the PS2 that piece fell out...I was sadder. I taped the sensor anyways with duct tape and screwed the PS2 back together without that little piece and BAM, it works lol. I can now swap discs annd play!!! Thanks everyone here at afterdawn for helping me.
