I just bought the slimkit pro and swap magic 3,6. Im having some problems with it and was wondering if i might not have installed all the tools corerctly.

I have managed to boot a few games, so I know that it works.

Anyway, problem is, after I have bootet the swap magic disc and press the "eject" button, 9 out of 10 times it will give me the toc message, I have installed the C tool quite a few times and I cant really see how I could do it differently. What I have found out is that, if I only open the lid 20% I can swap the disc with a backup, close the lid and it will boot, but shouldn´t it be able to work no problems opening it all the way up?

any help would be much appreciatet

I am having the same problem except my thing only opens up like 10% so I cant even swap discs so it doesnt work for me..how did you get Tool C out? Its impossible for me.

Hmm ok I think I know what my problem is then. Im guessing the purpose of tool c is to make sure the lid dosn´t go up too far. My C tool basically goes up by itself, everytime I puss the "eject" button the tool will follow the lid about a centimeter or so, which means I can take out and reinsert the tool with no problems whatsoever.

I´ve reinsertet the tool something like 20 times now, and I dont really see how it can go wrong at all, so I guess im just screwed.

Yeah it looks weird, since I dont have the silver ps2, its harder to see how did you get it out?

Also Tool C is for blocking the sensor from detecting the lid is open..
