was trying to unlock and upload apps to v220. now i have a blank screen, sound ok but no picture on screen please help

not a clue mate just conected cable and was reading phone unsure as to what was happening. next moment phone restarts but screen blank. any ideas

call your service provider and tell them your screen went out. ifit is under warrenty they will replace

I just had my v220 screen go totally blank too, but I wasn't doing what you were doing though. I wasn't actually on my phone when it happened but it baffled me because my phone was around my neck the whole time. Anyways, my screen stayed blank for almost a week & then poof it reappeared like nothing had happened to begin with. I hope you have the same luck as me (or at least the same problem). It came back right after I took out my battery & sim chip so I could see about getting my phone #'s off of a different compatible phone. Maybe try taking everything out of your phone once or twice.

My V220 screen has gone blank too and I need to copy my phone book from phone to Sim, can any guide me through this knowing I can't see whats on the screen. Your help would be really appreciated.

I also have a v220. Well, I've had two. I bought one, and the screen went blank, not too long after I got it. I took it in, and they said a lot of the v220's and the v180's were having this problem. They took it, repaired it for free, during which I had to use a beat up old crap phone which stopped working while I had it and they tried to make me pay for it. Then a while after I got my repaied one back, it happened again. So I took it in, and they said they'd save me the hassle of a loaner phone, and they just gave me a brand v220.
