Hi,
I'm using DVD Shrink 3.2 but it does not allow me to keep menus while removing extras. I tried to use VOBBlanker to remove extras but it has an indexing problem ( Nero, DVD Shrink & CopyToDVD emit an error message )
Is there a software that allows me to keep menus , remove extras and does not have an indexing problem ?
Thanks.

hi

in dvd shrink click/highlight the folder of extras or unreferenced material then go to browser and use a still image picture then all works but the links go to a picture of shrink not massive files!

enjoy

Nothing here to see, move along folks.

I think dvd remake is what your after. Allows you to keep whatever you want including a functional menu and get rid of whatever you don't want.

DVD Remake has some problems when used in conjunction with DVD Shrink
Any other software that allows me to keep menus and remove extras?
Thanks.

ak12,

Looks like you've got other problems since dvdremake and vobblanker both are giving you problems. I encoded a video folder with DVD Shrink that was edited with dvdremake just yesterday comparing speed tests between different encoding apps. I used RB/CCE, DVD Shrink, and dvdcopy3 to encode the same video folder edited with dvdremake.

You can always try the trial version of CloneDVD it will allow you to backup what you want and preserve the menu. Just uncheck the items you do not want and make sure you have the preserve menu box checked.
