I've just authored a DVD, a compilation of clips, using Ulead DVD Workshop.

The clips were originally AVIs, but needed editing, so i edited them in Ulead Video Studio 9, exporting them as DVD-compliant MPG files (with the same properties as the DVD template in Workshop, so that Workshop didn't have to rencode the files when authoring the DVD).

Then I imported each clip into Workshop, made my menus, authored the DVD, burned the files to disk using Nero, and went to play it.

For some reason, in my PS2, there is no sound at all. It detects an audio track, but it's just silence.
It plays fine in my PC, my Xbox and a standalone player (a slim Philips one, nothing special).

So how come the PS2 has problems with this?
Is there something I should have done to the audio when converting to MPGs?
