Hello everyone, this is my first post here, and it should be in the introductions :D but i'm a little desperate at the moment, it's almost 5 in the morning and i finally got fed up enough with my problem to ask about it.

I've been using VSO for some time, as it is the definitively easy and fast program for converting avi's and mpegs.

I am also a huge fan of anime, and can not stomach the shoddy subtitles that come with imports. However, with EVERY DAMN TITLE done, there are always bits of the longer lines of text cut off, i can't change much <4:3 and 16:9> but this is a resolution problem is it not ? in fact i believe i had this problem with TMPGENC back in the day where i would wait 14 hours for a couple eps....

Other than that the program is awesome, nice picture, great sound, fast as a dingo in heat, but the subtitles..ugh... if anyone has some handy info for me that will clear this up i'd appreciate it more than you know...

also, incedentally, What is standard procedure for adding softsubs to a dvd, or raw avi... i've searched these forums for a bit on that one, its troubling too...anyways thanks a bunch
