About a year ago I purchased an Aladdin Live & Aladdin Live Programmer. I never used either until yesterday, when I decided to "have a go".

The problem I'm having is programming the Aladdin Live with the supplied programmer, I've read elsewhere that you need to solder "BT" (on the mod) to GND (on the programmer), which I've done, but to no avail.

There are a couple of things I'm unsure of:
1) Which "Aladdin Live" do I have - seems like a strange question I know, but there seems to be "varietys". There are 2 chips on the board: "SST 49LF020" and "Lattice LC4032V"
2) Which way round do you connect the mod to the programmer, the header pins are labelled on the programmer but the socket on the mod is not.

Depending on which way I connect the mod to the programmer one of 2 things happens: 1) The blue light comes on and is steady, 2) The blue light comes on and flickers

I hope someone can help with this, even if it is a "genuine" suggestion to get a different mod chip!
