When the computer is booted(Windows Server 2003) the Award BIOS will detect the drive and both of the lights will light up(read/write) and stay lit until the computer is shut down. The drive drawer will not open by pressing the external drawer button. Previous to this happening, infrequently the drive drawer would eject by itself for no reason. Initially the drawer button could be used to return it but the last time it had to be manually pushed back. The drive is approx. 2-3 years old with only mild usage on it.
If anyone has had a similar experience or can offer assistance on a resolution it would be greatly appreciated?
