Okay, first of all i am new to this site and i would like to say hello to all members.

I have a Slim PS2 and i ordered the Slim Tool and it arrived today.
So i took off all my plugs and brang my PS2 to my table with the three tools(A, B, & C). Tools B & C took me 1 minute, it was very simple to do. However Tool A was a pain in the ass.
After half an hour of trying to fit it in the hole it still wouldn't fit in. So i searched around on G00gle and came across a tape & Scraw mod which told me to put a tissue ball in the hole and tape it in. It then said to cut off the platic thing on the lid which goes into that hole. So i did that and tried the tissue thing. I put in the SW3.3 disc and it didn't work. It came up as TOC refersh or something i think this was because the tissue ball didn't push down that bit. So i put some bluetact and tried that too. However it still didn't work, so i took all the tools out and put them back in, inplace of Tool A i put the bluetact again. I put the SWM disc in and then opened the lid, BUT only half way and i replaced the disc with a copied game which WORKED.
I was so happy!!!!

So basically after all this time, my problem was Tool C. When i opened the lid fully the tool came out of postition.

I read alot of the threads concerning this and never came across a answer, so if people are still having problems maybe they can try it the same way i discovered how too.
