swap magic is a pressed disc like a real ps2 game, and does he think that messes your ps2 up?! no

what does mess your ps2 up is using cheap media with swap magic or a mod chip because the ps2 finds it hard to read, and strains and then finally stops

wow who ever said that obviosely hates backups lol. Any way the swap magic i got from http://www.consoleasia.com wokred very nicely. I can play regulars and backups and i doubt itll ruin the ps2 from using it. But fro the new pstwo before there was a laser problem due to the constant swapping. That solved now by using the magic swith pro or slim tool. so dont worry about that anymore.
