Please help me with this DVD burning problem

Ok I just installed a new LiteOn DVDRW 1693S and Im having some problems. After figuring out how to decrypt and burn a DVD+R disk I noticed some playback issues. On my PC the DVDs play back fine but when I attempt to play them on 2 different stand alone DVD players the video get pixalated or skips out and the audio does not match the scene in the movie perfectly. For blank media I am using 16x RIDATA DVDs. For the actual burning process I am using CLONEDVD2 and for decryption I am using DVD Decrypter Version 3.5.4.0.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

I am sure you will get many suggestions for your problem here but one I would suggest is going to Liteon's website to download the bitsetting utility for your drive. This will change how your standalone reads or sees your burned disk. After bitsetting your dvd+r will be seen as a dvd-rom by your standalone dvd player. Note that this only works for +r disks. This may help compatibility problems substantially.

Try to keep your burning speed down to 4x, and make sure your firmware is up to date, even though the burner is new it does not mean that the firmware is current.
