will tool A allow the user to fully close the "ps2 slim" lid all the way down on both sides?

It doesnt need to be closed, you need to leave the lid open to swap discs.

i meant after you swap the discs and then if you could close the lid all the way down on both side so both sides are perfectly flat and should close the way they should. it not really a bother i just wanted to know.

mine shuts fine, make sure the tool at the very back is all the way down.
