Can you really play online with the MATRIX INFINITY chip?

If there is a way to play backups online using a modchip like MATRIX INFINITY? Cause I heard is possible but I dont trust the guy! I been wanting to buy a modchip but Im an online gamer so thats the only reason I havent get one.

yea, its possible to play using chips lke matrix infinity, with a few exceptions here and there, ie. socom 2, and probably ffxi and maybe eqoa, dunno bout eqoa, couldnt even back my copy up
