my ps2 was working pefectly fine and then all of a sudden it stated making weird noises and the game froze, now everytime i put in a game it makes weird noises and wont load the game please help me!

Sounds like your laser is wearing down, try cleaning it, and if all else fails buy a new laser.

you can also try adjusting the laser, if you plan to open it up to clean it you might as well, you will already be right there.
Here is a guide for both cleaning and adjusting the laser, that is if you have the older chunky PS2
