any one youse memorex dvd+r's on the slim ps2 if so are they any good or what brands are good does blanck media really suck.

My friend uses them all the time on his slim ps2 they work with no problems what so ever.

I have a little experience with this, So I can help.

What you need to do if you already bought MEMOREX media IS: Get some gas and a lighter or a match. Grab an old sweater or a shirt(make sure is not wet) Now put all the gas in the clothes(shirt or whatever) and Light it up. Now grab all the Blank MEMOREX DVDs and throw them in the fire. Whatch them Mo**erf**kers BURN! LOL:) Hope you get what Im saying.

Get some really good media like: MAXELL, TDK, VERBATIM,etc.

If your trying to copy dvd's, and your using memorix, god bless, cause you'll need it. Thats because of all the swearing you'll do everytime you get an [unable to burn to media], after you have spent 2 hours ripping and encoding.

i agree, Memorex are just cheap CMC crap. They may work for movies but with games they are just a 50/50 shot at best.
Save them for movies and get some good media for your games and save yourself a bottle of Advil every day you try to burn games on Memorex
