Question About Mpeg file?? Torrent

I DL a Torrent file that was a .rar. I was able to make it into a .WMV then into a MPEG file. I used mpeg-vcr and DVD-LAB and I am having trouble at the part to burn it? What am I doing wrong? I followed the Guides that put a SVCD onto a DVD? I don't know what else to do. Any help please I really appreciate it. The files are in MPEG I used the MPEG converters what can I do with a MPEG file that won't burn to a DVD? Thanks

have you tried vso divx2dvd (not sure if it's spelt right. there's loads of similar conversion utils/guides at top of page..

VSO is a very good encoder, plus it's free. But if you first uncompressed the rars into wmvs, then may be you should start from there. Fewer steps, fewer chances of error, less quality loss. VSO also works with wmvs.

I don't see the tons of utilities in DivX to DVD?
