Do IMPORT backup games work with Swap Magic?

yes they do , imports and backups work with swap magic.

No I know that, but I'm asking if they can play backup import games. An example would be a PAL game that is burnt on to a DVD-R and is played on an NTSC machine.

a PAL game that is a backup will work on an NTSC machine with Swap Magic, right?
I know original PAL games work, but I want to know if PAL BACKUPS work.

Yes, backups and originals are they same as long as you have a way to boot them. Just change the video mode to what your ps2 is. For example, if your ps2 is NTSC and you want to play a PAL game on you NTSC PS2 just change the video mode from normal to NTSC, and it should work. Same as PAL Systems.
