VOB to mp4 problems, please help

I am trying to rip the matrix and convert it to mp4 for my psp, i used dvd decrypter to rip the movie, i have tried 2 different programs to convert it, but for some reason once its on the psp, the scene where trinity beats up the cops in the beginning of the movie, the sound is a good 5 seconds behind the scene. It is not like that on the vob file, am i doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated
