UNABLE TO WRITE

I am using ANYDVD and CLONE DVD2 I can copy films to my hard drive but when I try to write them to disc i recieve a message unable to write due to bad media. When i view the details it says

WRITE DVD 10 11 W2

Can anybody help me rectify this problem

I've used samsung pleomax and datawrite classic

Both brands use different manufacturers. Some good some bad. Sounds like you got the bad ones. Have you run these discs thru Nero or DVD Identifer to see who the manufacturer was?
Switch to good media - in store buy - Fuji, Sony, Maxell (look for made in Japan) or Verbatim Datalife.

If there is one thing that I've learned in this forum....... MEDIA IS HALF THE BATTLE....... get the good ones..... here's a page you should check out so you know:

only get the first class ones!
Maxell, Taiyo Yuden, Verbatum, TDK

rule of thumb: if you can get the movie on your HD ... YOU CAN BURN IT! There are plenty of programs to do it with.... but you have to get it on your HD first!

or you can skip that and get one of those one click programs that will use a temp folder on your HD before it burns to disk.
