I have been unable to use DVD Decrypter - I keep getting the same error messages. During the extraction and decrypting phase I get an error message that says (For instance):

I/O Error!
Device [1:0:0]_NEC DVD+-RW ND 6500A 202C (D:) (ATA)
Scs:Status= 0x02
Interpretation: Check Condition

CDB: 2800 00 2F93B0 00 00 01 00
Interpretation: Read (10) - Sector 3118000

Sense Area: FO 000300 2F 93 B0 0A 00 00 00 00 02
Interpretation: No Seek Complete

I get these messages multipe times and it doesn't allow me to then burn/shrink the disc since it then says there are missing files.

Please help!

Best,
Annemarie

Are you getting this on every disk, or just one? If it is just the one then your disk is either dirty, smudged, scratched or has an imperfection. Try cleaning it or take it back and get another original.

i'm having the same problem... except it says "write" instead of "read" and the status window on DVD Decrypter says "failed: invalid address". i got about 90% of the files written before this error message showed up. i own a dell desktop... is that bad? lol... please help!

@aofarrel

Go to the dell site and download the upgraded firmware for your burner and see if this makes a difference.

Hmmmm..seems like a solved the problem with one disc utilizing a highly scientific method of cleaning the disc with some warm water and light soap. Perhaps I was just unlucky and got 5 bum discs in a row?
