PS2 Verbatim DVD-R Quandary

As everyone knows Verbatim is another viable option for PS2 DVD backups. I've narrowed it down to 2. I'm not sure which one of these I should go with. Does someone know which one is more reliable and more importantly which one puts less strain on the laser? One batch is DataLifePlus and the other is just Verbatim. Thanx lots.

 ... Both of your links come up "Page does not exist" ... Verbatim is excellent media, the Data Life Plus is their 'top of the line' but nowadays all Verbatim is MCC produced ... As far as wear and tear on your laser, I really don't think that the different types of Verbatim will make a noticable difference ...
