trouble with xecuter3 solderless installation

Hello, I have installed a xecuter3 into a v1.1 using the xapt3r solderless adapter. The blue led light on the adapter and the Xecuter3 come on when the xbox is turned on, but the xbox just boot up normaly like they werent even there. can any one offer any advice about what may be going one.
