(Is there anyway i can add permanent subs)(directly to the MPEG???)

Hello,

My problem is as following:
I don't have a standalone player wich supports selectable cvd or svcd subtitles...
But i would really like to add some, even if they are permanent.

My pc is kind of slow so converting the ready-to-burn mpegs to avi, add subtitles and then reconvert to mpeg would take a week or so :-(

Is there anyway i can add permanent subs directly to the MPEG???

I've been searching a couple of days for the answer, now i'm hoping this will lead to somthing...
