Disney has stumped me. I cannot rip Disney's Tarzan DVD. DVD Shrink can't even open the DVD, and DVDDecryptor can't decrypt it. I'm using the most up-to-date version of decryptor (and I believe it automatically tries Key-Exchange and Brute Force when one or the other fails). Is there any decryption software that can break this CSS?

i copied that movie using 1clickdvd and DVD43 free, nothing special about this one.

Nero Recode2 or Shrink using deep analysis and AEC/ fabdecrypter or anydvd running in the background/ IMGBurn to burn/main movie only mode= perfect.

You may also have a bad press of the disc. If this is the case you will need to exchange it and try another one.
You can also tryy using DVDD in ISO mode. Here's a guide for hard to rip DVD's:

I agree with binkie7 sounds like a bad disk, there is really nothing special about this movie. You should be able to do this movie using Decrypter's default settings, and file mode. Brute force is not necessary.

Funny thing, I backed-up Tarzan using the last version of decrypter last night. I didn't use any dvd/dvd region+css free at all. Binkie is probably right about having a bad press disc...

Hi tony553 what quality is the disc yr copying? (scratched) might just need cleaning. I've had 2 do this on a few occasions when forced 2 hire a copy (of a movie I allready own OF CORSE), DVDecryptor would not look at it. Took it back 2 the video store (told them it wouldnt work properly in my DVD player), they cleaned it, Problem solved.
Hope it helps

DVDD handles all disney movies no problems. Just have it on default settings and away you go.
