The only memory card i got right now is my gameshark v2 and the gameshark memory card and Midnight club 3 DUB Edition so anytime i put my gameshark in a select with no cheats then i insert the game and the screen freezes black and this dosent only hapeen with midnight club the same thing happens with Need for speed underground 2?

Are you useing a mod chip ? I play NFSU2 as well , Ive had no probs , but then again , I havent installed my modchip yet. If you are useing a mod chip , what chip is it ? Please explain.

NO its not DMS4EZ1 this is the discription (No Solder Modchip for PS2 v5/6/7
