Before I read on this forum a post where it was described how to use the swap magic boot disc without using the slide card. they openned the PS2 and place some tape to cover the sensor inside the PS2. I would like to know how to do this. I have spent several hours trying to find that post without any result. I will appreciate any help. i have a PS2 V5-6.

i have never heard of anything like that before i have the flip top for the ps2 v-4 if u have the swap magic disc then u need to have a flip top or the slide card there is no way that i have ever heard of unless u have the ps2 modded with a chip u cant hit the eject button my friend.

the tape mod applies to v12 and the newest v13 not v11 or older.

yea i have heard about putting duct tape on a metal piece on the 12 and 13 but not the older versions.
