xboxhdm won't lock

When I went to lock the hdd it said that it could not find the eeprom.bin. When I made the cd I put the eeprom in the right folder. I heard you can boot it by floppy but when I clicked on make a floppy it ended up saying that it could not find a certain file an .img file but it was there. Anyone know what I can do to correct this problem. I have a soft modded xbox so it has to be locked before I put it back in the xbox.

Go to xbox-hq.com to find out if the new hard drive you are trying to use is lockable.For soft modded xboxs they always have to be locked or elso you will recieve an error message
