does anyone know if this slide card combo with the swap magic 3 cds works to play ps2 backup dvds?????

What do you mean? If your trying to say that is it possible to boot ps2 d.v.d games with the swap magic c.d version then the answer is no.

SWAP MAGIC DVD is for DVD backups so answer is yes
SWAP MAGIC CD is for PS2 CD Backups (note PS1 backups wont work, you need Breaker Pro for that sadly)

Do you mean a backup of swap magic dvd to boot a backed up dvd ? Cos' if thats what your saying then no. Cos' basically u need an ORIGINAL ps2 disc to boot a backup a.k.a SWAP MAGIC. Hope this helps ;)

I don't know why exactly, but it's common sense. Think of it lke this, your someone says they can jus put a backed up PS2 game into the ps2 without it being modded in anyway. Thats what a backup of swap disc would be doing and that will end up unsuccessful. So if you want my advice, don't bother copying your friends one. My friends asked me the same thing when I told em' about SWAP DISC back in the day.

You could copy it, but how would you get it to boot? You'd need a swap magic disc or a mod-chip to boot it defeating the point of having the copy. I have to explain this like every day.

You can do it by taking everything apart, or you could buy a lens cleaner, there like cds with little brushes on which clean the lens

If you could Boot a "BACKUP" of Swap Magic ....... Why would you need Swap Magic in the First place if "BACKUPS" Booted?

ok took ps2 apart cleaned lens still nothing,... tried swap cd on m8s ps2 works fine on his......its a downloaded copy off tha net...but it works on other ps2s?

Is your friends console chipped by any chance?
How would a downloaded swap magic work? if you can't boot copys why would a copied or downloaded swap magic boot?

yeah m8s ps2 is chipped, downloaded swap cd coz cheaper than buying 1 would work same way as a normal swap cd wouldnt it?

Backups will not work without the PS2 either being Chipped or if you have an ORIGINAL PRESSED Swapmagic Disc...
The Orginals are Pressed with Coding that a burner CANNOT Duplicate in order to boot...
