it was neither as you need a bird/reptile to lay the egg 1st but what really came 1st was a single cell organism

... It's obvious that the egg came first ... How is that? you ask ... Well, everyone knows that the Easter Bunny brought it ...

depends on religious beliefs or lack of.either god created the chicken to lay the egg or like ddp said the egg came first because of evolution which to me makes more sense considering that an egg is like a mini-evolution in itself transforming from 2 cells to an egg to a chicken.

kinza, who are you referencing to as it is not me or catfreak but i think i know who tho.
kcdc30, i didn't say the egg came 1st, i said "bird/reptile to lay the egg 1st but what really came 1st was a single cell organism" which started all life on this earth so no egg came 1st!!

think about it, an egg just doesn't appear on it's own as it has to be laid. a bird/reptile are hatched from an egg. so it goes to evolution & a single cell organism that started the who process

Ther chicken for sure, as I think you'll find 'The Colonel' invented the chicken in Kentucky.
He told me that in a dream so it has to be true.................
As for the egg, I believe that was Mrs Gates' first attempt at childbirth, which obviously went wrong..............
