DVDShrink no longer shrinks to 4.3gb ?!

It used to work fine, now it sits above the 4.3gb limit and if I change to custom ratio it still wont allow me to reduce the size any further.

Any ideas on this one? Derren Brown Tricks of the Mind did the same last week too.

PS: I have checked the options and it all seems fine, set as 4.3gb etc

Here's my suggestions:
Do movie only in re-authur
Make some of the extras still pics
In target device> select backup target click hard disc folder. When done encoding reopen this file in shrink and shrink again.

Some discs you can't keep whole, you have to trash some stuff. I know if I can't get the final compression above 70%, I just reauthor it. Only keep the main film, the menus will be worthless. That 55% threshold was set up by Shrink becuase anything more than that will really begin to kill your video quality.

Just reauthor it, it's quick and painless.

The Main movie itself is less than 4 gigs, if you wan the rest Buy the Damn DVD or get DVD9 DL medi, your choice, BTW DVDShrink is working fine.

is this a concert? If so, use reauthor mode and pick just 1 of the angles. You won't even have to compress most likely.

Its a car DVD. Ive chopped out a lot of the shitty bits and it all works fine now.

Thanks for your help, I thought something was wrong as this is the second time in a week Ive seen it happen and never before in the last 2 years!
