Hi, I recently encoded a DIVX avi in Tmpegenc to DVD Mpeg2.
I checked the avi first in virtualdub for errors and there werent any.
I encoded with CQ_VBR 4700
The mpeg2 encoded correctly to a nice 3.4 gigs. So i thought that was it...but no!

I then added the mpeg2 in TMpeg DVD author, created a menu etc and clicked output.
It spent about 30 seconds outputting and all of a sudden, the progress bar suddenly shot from 3% to 100% in a couple of seconds.
I then checked the output folder and the .vob file was only 100 megs, no-where near the size it should be.
So i assume the conversion to .vob failed somwhere.

I then used tmpeg dvd authors Chapter cut function to view the mpeg2 and after about a minute of playing, i noticed the index of frames along the bottom stopped displaying images, even though the movie still played.

Basically, even thou the movie supposedly successfully encoded to mpeg2, the dvd author still has trouble reading it.

Please help
